This ceiling fan remote control kit fits in any AC Ceiling Fan Lamp! It can work with most bulbs less than 300W in total, so please do not overload. The universal ceiling fan remote is of NO dimmer function for your light kit - "on" & "off" only.

There's a timer function which is great because no more leaving a fan running all day in an empty room and worrying about the power bill. This ceiling fan remote control will be a great add-on item when you want a remote control to turn your ceiling fan on/off, as well as turn the light on/off. Yes, it can work well with LED bulbs and also incandescent.

To turn the Beep Off, simply press and hold the 8-hour timer button for 3-5 seconds until you hear the double beeps - that disables the beeps.

Installation is a breeze and the looks of the remote are second to none. Just make sure you have room in the ceiling fan for the remote box. Only 5 wire hooks up. The most challenging part was placing the receiver in the canopy. Connecting the receiver to the fan was child's play and the receiver to the house wiring was even easier.

This ceiling fan remote comes with a fan remote holder for the wall switch or which can be mounted by the bed so that you can leave it over the wall switch or take it out like a remote. It is so nice to not get out of bed to turn the fan on or change a setting. You will love it!

Troubleshooting: 1. If the fan speed is slower even at High, make sure the SPEED is at Maximum and the Light is at "ON" on any pull chains or wall switch. Then you can use the remote to turn on/off the light, and the Speed will be turned back to normal. 2. The size of this fan light remote receiver is 4.531.971.06 inches. If the fan light is slimline, it may not fit, so please check the size of your fan light canopy before buying. 3. If there is no answer from the fan, please check: A. Does your fan have power? B. If you have a pull chain switch or wall switch, are they on? C. Did you install the fan receiver correctly? D. Do the batteries in the remote have enough power or are they well installed? F. Are there any other RF products with the same frequency working nearby? They may disturb each other if they are working nearby.
