Our universal ceiling fan remote controls kit is UL listed and FCC ID approved, allowing you to upgrade a traditional ceiling fan to a remote-controllable one. It is compatible with most ceiling fan lights with AC motors, but not suitable for DC motors. The remote will only work with the receiver included in the package.

The remote is ergonomically designed for comfort and has a compact, ultra-thin receiver that is easy to install. It features 3 fan speeds (High/Medium/Low/Off) and light control (ON/OFF and dimming). The light dimming function works well with incandescent, dimmable LED, and dimmable CFL bulbs, but should not be used with non-dimmable LED and CFL bulbs, as it can cause flickering or damage.

To use the remote, you need to set the same 4-digit dip pin codes on both the transmitter and receiver. The default setting of 0000 is not recommended. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, make sure the PIN code settings are different between them. You can also use one remote to control multiple fans by setting the same pin codes on the remote and receivers.

The remote is quiet when pressing any key, without the beeping sound found in other models. It requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. The product is UL listed and FCC ID approved.
